Standard Payment Terms & Conditions:
Prepayment is required for all new accounts. Established accounts have Net 30 terms with approved credit and established credit limit. USA: payments accepted via ACH, check or credit card. Outside of USA: ACH or credit card. Credit card transactions greater than $10,000 are subject to a 3% surcharge.
Shipment Terms:
Shipments are made FOB Amesbury, MA 01913 USA. Equipment ships on a pallet by LTL Truck. Small items ship by parcel service.
Carrier Shortage or Damage:
Customer MUST notify Newcastle Systems of any shortages or damages within 2 days of receiving the order. All damages to the shipment must be noted on the trucking carrier’s shipping paperwork.
Order Placement:
All orders must be emailed to Newcastle Systems at customerservice@newcastlesys.com on company letterhead. Any changes must be communicated in writing.
Price Terms:
Newcastle Systems reserves the right to revise all prices and freight terms without notice.
Custom Orders:
Products manufactured by Newcastle Systems to your specifications CAN NOT be canceled.
Lead Times:
Lead Times will be noted on our proposals but are subject to change. Generally, lead times vary from 1 to 3 weeks. (Lead times may change due to current supply chain bottlenecks. Please confirm with customerservice@newcastlesys.com).
Carts / Power System Chassis:
All metal components are warranted against defects in material and workmanship for 5 years.
PowerSwap Nucleus Classic Battery System:
*Electronic components are warranted against defect for 5 years
Year 1: Customer has the option for Newcastle to repair at factory or new repair parts can be shipped directly to customer to install (includes tools and instructional step by step video). Estimated 15-minute repair time.
Year 2 – 5: New repair parts (includes tools & instructional step-by-step video) are shipped directly to customer to install. Estimated 15-minute repair time (Customer has option for Newcastle to repair at factory for $90 labor fee + shipping both ways.)
PowerSwap Nucleus MINI Battery System:
*Electronic components are warranted against defect for 3 years
Year 1: Customer has the option for Newcastle to repair at factory or new repair parts can be shipped directly to customer to install (includes tools and instructional step-by-step video). Estimated 15-minute repair time
Year 2 –3: New repair parts (includes tools & instructional step-by-step video) are shipped directly to customer to install. Estimated 15-minute repair time (Customer has option for Newcastle to repair at factory for $90 labor fee + shipping both ways.)
Fixed SLA and Lithium Battery Systems:
*New repair parts/batteries are shipped directly to customer to install.
This warranty does not cover product abuse, modification, integration, improper storage, failure to adhere to product instructions, improper operation, or misuse. Examples of misuse include but are not limited to any use of the product in other than its intended application, including the use of this product with any charging device or accessory not manufactured by Newcastle Systems, improper maintenance, improper battery charging/discharging behavior, spilling liquids on components, opening/dropping/disassembling battery pack, exposure to harsh elements including temperatures and moisture outside the operating and storage specifications. Additionally, this warranty does not cover the expected cycle life performance degradation for a given battery chemistry. As battery usage cycles increase, the recharge capacity decreases.
Returns will not be accepted without prior written authorization and compliance with shipping instructions as provided by Newcastle Systems. All goods must be returned in good condition and freight prepaid. A minimum restocking charge of 30% is made on all authorized returns of standard product for credit. An additional charge will be made for any repairs as necessary.
We reserve the right to change product design, specifications, construction and performance at any time without prior notice. Additionally, we reserve the right to discontinue products at any time without prior notice.
