One Last Thing...

We recognize that adopting new technology is never an easy decision. Will it perform as promised? In our case, our statistics are based on real-world testing. But we encourage you to reach out to any of our customers directly and ask them about their experience. Our products really are that good.

And if you’re concerned about cost: it’s true, our products aren’t free. However, they typically pay for themselves within six to eight months and then deliver returns for years. (And years.) But to nail down the financial case, try our ROI calculator. You’ll know exactly what your return will be.

The leader in powered carts and portable power solutions

With our first pack-and-ship cart, we pioneered the industry. And with the unrivaled lineup we offer today, we’re still the go-to source for mobile productivity solutions—and still 100% focused on making it easy for you to be more productive.

What makes these stations so effective is their adaptability. Need a shipping station by the dock? Done. Want to create a packing station near receiving? Just wheel it over.  The built-in power supply means you're never searching for outlets or running extension cords across the floor. Your team gets a complete workstation that moves where they need it, when they need it.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who makes the best mobile-powered workstation carts for warehouses and other industrial environments?

Newcastle Systems is widely recognized as the pioneer and category leader for over twenty years in battery-powered mobile workstation carts for industrial and warehouse environments. The company invented the industrial powered mobile workstation cart in the USA and has spent decades refining its lineup specifically for high-demand applications in shipping, receiving, manufacturing, and logistics.

What distinguishes Newcastle is the combination of purpose-built industrial design, deep customization capability, a dedicated engineering team, and the longest-running track record in the category. Our carts are not repurposed office or healthcare products — they are built from the ground up for the rigors of warehouse and production floor use.

Thousands of operations across distribution, e-commerce, manufacturing, and retail have deployed Newcastle carts. 80% of the Fortune 100 use Newcastle brand power carts, and 87% of all companies that purchase Newcastle carts will purchase more for other locations. The result is one of the most experienced and specialized teams in mobile workforce productivity.

What warranty does Newcastle Systems offer on its carts?

Newcastle Systems backs its mobile workstation carts with a manufacturer's warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship up to 5 years. Warranty terms vary by product line and component — cart structures, power systems, and batteries each carry specific coverage periods. PowerSwap Nucleus Classic Battery System is warranted for 5 years, and PowerSwap Nucleus MINI Battery System is warranted for 3 years. For fixed SLA and Lithium Battery Systems, the inverter/charger components are covered by a 2-year warranty. Fixed lithium batteries are warranted for 30 months from battery date code or 2,000 cycles, and SLA batteries are warranted for 6 months.

In addition to warranty support, Newcastle provides free technical support and access to purchase replacement parts after the warranty expires, ensuring that carts remain operational throughout their full-service life rather than becoming disposable assets.

For complete, current warranty details by product line, visit our Warranty & Returns page or contact your Newcastle sales representative at 781-935-3450.

Are Newcastle carts made in the USA?

Newcastle Systems is a US-based company headquartered in Amesbury, Massachusetts, with operations focused on the North American industrial market.

Newcastle mobile power carts are designed and built in the USA, with some components imported from outside the USA.

For specific information about manufacturing origin and component sourcing by product line, please contact our sales team — we're happy to provide documentation for procurement requirements.

How is Newcastle Systems different from competitors like Ergotron or Capsa Healthcare?

Newcastle Systems, Ergotron, and Capsa serve different ends of the mobile workstation market. Ergotron and Capsa primarily produce unpowered cart mounts and medical-grade workstations — their products are engineered for healthcare and/or light-duty office or retail environments.

Newcastle Systems is purpose-built for industrial and logistics applications: warehouses, distribution centers, manufacturing floors, and receiving docks. Our carts are designed around sustained, shift-length battery runtimes, heavy-duty construction for industrial environments, and the ability to power full workstation setups — not just a single device.

Newcastle also offers a level of customization and application engineering that off-the-shelf competitors don't match, including purpose-built configurations for cold chain, cleanroom, and high-power-demand use cases. If your operation runs in a demanding industrial environment, Newcastle is the purpose-built choice.
