PRESENTERS Derek Browning, Vice President of LeanCor Supply Chain Group, in his tenth year of supply chain and logistics optimization. He has experienced a wide range of projects: from transactional transportation management, to performing logistics networks and route designs, supply chain and facility assessments, lean cross-dock and distribution center projects and the deployment of lean principles and practices in several cross functional areas. These areas include logistics and warehousing, purchasing, human resources, creative design and marketing, accounting and finance, sales, and executive leadership teams. Kevin Ledversis, Sales Director of Newcastle Systems, Inc., has more than 20 years of experience with AIDC, working for Weber Labeling Solutions, Intermec Honeywell, and Printronix. He has developed solutions for complex labeling applications in a variety of vertical markets, including manufacturing, distribution, healthcare, and retail. Today, Kevin focuses on converting wasted motion into productivity and improving warehouse processes. He trained in Lean Principles at the Greater Boston Manufacturing Partnership. Mike Maris, Sr. Director Transportation, Logistics and Warehousing, NA Transportation and Logistics Sales, Zebra Technologies, is responsible for helping Zebra Technologies’ customers achieve greater operational efficiencies and sustained customer loyalty through enterprise mobility technology. Mike’s experience and career in supply chain operations gives him real-world perspective to define transportation & logistics solutions that open new profit streams, differentiate product roadmaps and develop strong customer relationships.
