Mechanical Engineer 

To maintain our rapid growth, we are seeking a creative, resourceful, and hands-on engineer to support our existing product lines as well as new product development. Reporting directly to the president, this position offers a terrific opportunity to have a highly visible and responsible role in an established and growing company. The ideal candidate would also have a significant impact in developing the next generation of mobile power systems.

Responsibilities Include:

• Analysis of new designs for manufacturability, transition of products from development to production with analysis and enhancement of existing manufacturing practices to increase efficiencies.
• Guiding and training assembly department pertaining to new and existing product assembly. 
• Ability to identify and troubleshoot product issues.

Ideal Candidate: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 5+ year of previous mechanical engineering experience required
• Understanding of sheet metal and sheet metal components
• Basic electrical skills with AC & DC circuits
• Proficient in Solidworks 2013
• Familiarity working with sales, marketing & manufacturing on new product designs; creating detail part & assembly drawings
• Understanding of battery technology preferred
